WHAT YOU'LL
We take a functional, evidence-based approach to yoga and pilates, rooted in a comprehensive understanding of the parts, as well as how the parts work together within the whole.
You will learn to read bodies, discover the mysteries of your own, and clearly see the functional anatomy, kinesiology, and physiology behind the poses, in both active and passive styles. Not only will this make your own practice safer, but you'll understand how to adapt poses and exercises to the individual student.
You will not just identify the risks of injuries that come with different poses and movements, but you will understand them as clear as day, and you will know how to mitigate them, in order to build a safe, sustainable, and rewarding practice.
This training involves many hours of practice-teaching designed to build your confidence within the safe environment of the program, and encourage you to apply and thereby internalize the knowledge you gained from the lectures and classes
You will finish this training stronger, intimately aware of your body, and inspired to share your love of yoga with skill and mastery.
